Wiper motors

Hi,
I want to change my wipers on my jeep for the single motor type, and therefore pop the screen down easier.
Do they need to be 2 speed for the MOT?
I know I can drop the screen forward for the MOT, but would like to know.
Also, any one know of a good supplier of said motors?

Thanks
Mark

Re: Jeep Insurance

Hi all,
Yep, That was the picture that I found that gave me the idea.
I have some work to do first.
Remove the plastic dash and sort out the wires.
Fit discs to the front.
Reshape the front wings.
Still wondering about removing the role bars too.

Re: Jeep Insurance

It seems there are so many avenues you can go down with these jeeps, they lend themselves to whatever you want to do with them. But they are fun whatever you do. Off roading, full bore. Big enginges and all the mods. Green laning. Army reinactment. Pottering about enjoying the sun. I am from a farmi...

Re: Assistance Required From the Mechanically Minded

I think if I was doing it I would... 1. find a "u" channel that would fit over the bumper and therefore could be bolted to the bumper. 2. drop down two channels underneath the "u" channel to fix the cat 1 or 2 pins to. They will need to swivel up and down. 3.Pull the pin on the front of the blade. s...

Tim.

Hi, Is Tim ok.
I ordered some carriers from him, and not herd from him since.
Not too worried about the plates, more so about Tim.

Re: Leaking Cylinder head still ?

Kerry, Hi, Found this nugget of info when looking for an engine for mine. you may need to grind of some engine ribs for the starter motor. I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE INFORMATION GIVEN, But it is a good starting point. It was on a site that used the engines for converting Land rovers to Peugeot...

Re: Leaking Cylinder head still ?

It might be worth trying a good quality block leak fix.
its not a perm fix but it may keep you on the road until you get another engine.

Re: Brake lines done...

Hello'
The mc's were a Girling\Indian bastardisation. Very difficult to get spares in UK or any where. I did try Girling uk, they could not help.
I think if you measure the seals you should be able to get a set.
