Re: Register Website future and donations towards server cos

I would be happy to chip in, too.

Please let me know the means - PayPal or whatever.

Re: Mahindra CJ3 - worth a look?

Gidday. I am no expert but I think that the Mahindra is a lot of fun. The diesel is pretty robust - mine started after ten years idle. Parts are generally not an issue - you will find Ahmed from India's contact details on these pages, and there is a parts page where parts such as fan belts which are...

Gidday, Stephen.

yes, there is a limit on jpeg file sizes, but this is a PDF and the system did not like the file type.

CJ 340 Bushranger Owners Manual

I am trying to post a copy of the owners manual for the above-named. I tried to see if it is already here but I could not find it.

Anyway, can anyone tell me why a PDF file extension is not allowed?

Re: Fan on the CJ340

I have found one, courtesy of Stephen, on Ebay.

Right now I am looking for the simplest option - down the track I think the electric fan is the go.

Fan on the CJ340

Can anyone tell me the ins and outs of replacing the existing fan on a CJ340?

I do not yet know what's happened, but somehow the fan started hitting the shroud above it.

Re: Does the willys screen surround fit??

In my experience, no, the Willys replacement does not fit exactly. I bought my windscreen frame from Marathon Spares in NSW. I think they source the MD Juan parts from the Philippines. Anyway, the part they supplied me did not go back far enough on the body to enable the clamps to fit. When I compar...

Re: restoration of a CJ 340

The mighty mini moke - I remember them well from my childhood when a mate's father had one. Terrific at the beach. I see now that they sell for up to $20,000. Falstaff, the modern Landcruisers here have 4.5 litre V8 diesels, while the Nissans are mostly powered by 3.0 litre diesels. Mine is old - an...

Re: restoration of a CJ 340

Well spotted. Yes, it is an old WA plate. The Mahindras are not too common, certainly. Mine was bought new by my late brother at the John Hughes dealership in Victoria Park. I am not sure how many were sold here. I would have to say that Landrovers in all their incarnations are pretty popular now, b...

restoration of a CJ 340

Gidday there, fellas. I have been a reader on this site for a number of years now. Recently I got back from the painters my CJ340. I have been doing it up for my daughters, both of whom learnt to drive in my old Landcruiser. They love the jeep look and are agog at the prospect of getting it back on ...

re-powering a Mahindra CJ340

Hello, folks. I was just wondering about others' experiences re-powering a Mahindra CJ 340 with something like, say, a Rover style 3.5 litre V8. Being pretty much inept in all such matters I would like to know the pros and cons. I have been restoring a Mahindra and I am uncertain about how well it w...

Re: mahindra tailgate

Yes, I am in Perth - southern suburbs.

It does not leak much - more like seeping.

I did order from Marathon. They are usually reasonably priced. This one, with a Willys stamp, will cost $170 plus 30 bucks shipping.

Could anyone tell me whether a tailgate from a CJ3B will fit a Mahindra CJ 340?

Thanks
