I did look through the Technical section but couldn't find any reference. I think the Forum is great but like most things it needs to be used regularly to get to know where queries are entered.

Thermostat

Hi, Can anyone tell me the part number for a water thermostat for the Marksman. I ordered one from a Peugeot 504 GL 1974 -1981 Pt # QTH 142 but it is too large. I have trawled through the Technical posts but cannot find any reference to it.

Thanks for the help. I cannot select anything while stationary, hence my question and assumed I would only be able to engage when on the move. Had the engine running this weekend after a 2 year body rebuild so not had it on the road to test yet.

Can anyome advise how to select low/high ratio and also x2 and 4x drive. Can it only be done stationary or at up to what speed. Both levers currently do no move, are they supposed to move up and down or is there some form of detant mechanism e.g. pushing down/lifting up on the lever to select gear e...
