Yes it had 2 leaky box's under the seats pretending to be fuel tanks and it is green but it seems to be silver underneath, it had bigger bumpers bolted over the original ones and a horrible plastic dash also the rolbar has straight diagonal supports as apposed to the bent up and across ones I have seen on most mindies.

Yep that's the stockman! It also has same diff ratios as a wartime jeep so get an overdrive if you get the chance

I dont think its a lowly stockman- its more likely an upmarket model bushranger

[going by the silver paint and high back buckets]

Probably was repainted at some time- might be one of the batch that Dolly Parton tried to get into the USA for her theme park, then was refurbished before sale in Europe.

That would also account for the dodgy manufacture date, Aussie spec mindies were built in '89 and '90.

The second shipment of Aussie bound mindies [that order was cancelled] ended up sitting in India for a while- then to the USA where they were impounded as a prohibited import- then auctioned and sent to Europe.

did I mention Aussies travel well ;)
