engine side of bulkhead all cleaned, de greased and painted, most of the body brackets and grab handles all painted and re fitted too :good:

today started with me sorting the steering column angle, firring the supports and landrover UJ, modifying and fitting 2 repro WW2 willys seats,,,,

fitting the suzuki handbrake mech on right side of drivers seat to hide it a bit,,,,

and bolting the floorpan to the under floor supports
all in all a pretty good day :D

I don't have anywhere to spray, I use gloss foam paint rollers :grin: comes out plenty good enough for military vehicles :good:

Fantastic!

I had mine sprayed but with working on it the finish as been nicked and scraped, so I’ve had to patch paint to keep on top of it. To bring it back to an even coat I may have to do the same – that’s why I asked.

Looks really good – nice one mate! :D

Cheers Phil, it's not brilliant close up but if you are very carefull you can get a great finish, after all Rolls Royce cars were painted by brush originally :grin:

So after 18 months, pat the owner has sold his model aircraft collection and raised money to at last get engine rebuilt, this was underway yesterday, it's a1.3 suzuki SJ413 so will need to move chassis mounts forward and fit a pacet fan to get it in! Will update as it goes :good:

Needed space about a year ago so put the tub I built on to the chassis pat had cleaned and painted, took 2 of us 18 mins!
