Tyres

Post by Tim036 » Tue Apr 26, 2011 6:52 pm

I was told 235x70x15 are cheaper and easier to get than 235x75x15. Are there any disadvantages going from 75 to 70 ?

:)

70's have a lower profile than 75's hence a smaller circumference, so you will loose some top end speed.
and get slightly less mpl. :this:
The journey isn't about departing in a well preserved body - but rather to skid in sideways - totally worn out - shouting HOLY SHIT WHAT A RIDE!!!!

Lucky I've got an Overdrive fitted *LOL*

Worth spending an extra 15.00 a tyre ( 60.00 in total ? ). Having a legal car seems neat. Top speed is not a big issue off road or on a farm. *LOL*
