With just 2 bolts does it align ok ?Alan wrote:Tim,
OE is four bolts
Quite a few peeps have resorted to the two bolt version.
The bolts holding it in place are far less important than the cylinder bores. These must be the same or a serious braking imbalance will result.
Rear cylinder bore is 7/8 of an inch.
Front cylinder bore is 1 and 1/8 of an inch.
After protracted negotiations Paddocks of http://www.paddockspares.com shipped me one of these two part numbersTim036 wrote:At last I found a LanRover Series expert !
Series 1 86 inch and 88 inch used 1 inch on the Rear and 1 1/4 inch on the Front and embossed on the underside of the slave cylinder was a '1' for the rears and '1 1/4' on the front !
This ran for the short wheel base Series 2 also 2A. And Series 3 upto 1980.....
Is this the mythical Unicorn like slave cylinders that can be made to fit onto our beloved Mahindrii Brave, Cheif and Stockmen ???

Made by Lockheed 'Delphi' series
243302D
243303D
I've no idea if they are correct or not, I suspect 243302D is.
This email/thread may help others in the distant future.
As soon as I have further information positive or negative, I'll update here.
