experiencing delay in receipt of same

Managed to fit same alt
after some mucking about- it was obviously designed to sit on the opposite side of the engine to a Jeep

we installed an extension bracket out of alloy to align the "ear" to the alt bracket and all seems OK.

We now have 14 amp charge after startup- the glow plug seems to draw a lot of current

haven't tried lamping at night - which is the killer on batteries.............. yet.
Kind Regards

OK first the good news- we got it to fit

We had to extend the mounting bracket as this alternator is obviously designed to sit on the other side of the engine!

However I have since discovered more part nos/info for the OE version being:

Lucas Part no is 26021249
other numbers are:
SA15-12V-40A

The one I fitted is more than 40 Amps and pulls a good charge
Kind Regards
