I used a Ford one off an Escort (same as Scorpio one) and suddenly the engine died gracefully.
The pump punger was jammed in !
I took of the hose leading to the injector pump and a gushing suction noise occured and the plunger popped back !
A good pumping and all was well again !
Now there is a non return valve in there and a pump ?
What sort of fault causes that ? Or is it sling it and get another job ?
