Ive added some code to the forum which will make it easier to link to items on ebay. When you make a new post you will now see an 'ebay' button above the text box, this will produce some code that looks like this
[ ebay ] [ /ebay ]
Just put the item number in the middle like so
[ ebay ] 12345458785 [/ebay ]
and it should produce a listing that looks like this, it's embedded in the post and is 'clickable'

Sorry folks, I have had to disable this bit of code.
The latest flash player update has rendered the coding useless meaning folks running the latest version can not see what is posted.
Apparently this will not get changed by Adobe.
In truth flash is getting superseded by HTML5 encoding so would have been obsolete soon anyway.

OK folks, as I usually do, I've been tweaking the coding and have made the ebay link widget work again so feel free to use it.
For those with any interest, it was a {simpletext} input handling error.
