Well a little update from today

Took the bent bulbar off

Image

As you can see it has a slight bend to the front grill

Seems that you can't get these so I'm going to try and straighten it

Looks like you have got your work cut out there!
I've recently just got mine back on the road after 10 years of it not moving, new battery and started straight up! Wasn't as bad as I had first thought but did need some welding. There's a guy on here called Ahmed from India who can get nearly everything for you!

Hello gw,
You got yourself an aussie spec cj340, bet the brake cylinders are seized usual problem after standing, if they are shot Ahmen can supply at reasonable cost, keep an eye on the forum and ebay, front grills sometimes come up as several guys on here have done hood chops and fitted willys mb fronts, to resemble the ww2 jeep.
wings and some body parts can be got from http://www.jeeparts.co.uk/Jeeparts/home ... 1e31bd6f73.
welcome to the madhouse, wish you luck. :good:

the "little chappy" is the glowplug buzzer.

the rollcage is as-issued in Aussie CJ340's,

the soft top, hoops and doors are all Aussie original issue,

the rear seats look very much like suzuki sierra soft top rear seats.
(uncomfortable - but probably better than original willys rear seats)
